Geoffrey is an acclaimed legal practitioner with knowledge and experience in commercial and corporate law. His expertise includes corporate structuring and financing, Mergers and Acquisitions, corporate legal audits, corporate governance and compliance, commercial contracts; Intellectual Property, Employment and Retirement Benefits law.
In his practice, Geoffrey has gathered experience in Real Estate and Property law and has acted as lead counsel to both local and international clients in real estate development transactions.
He is passionate about meeting and advising start-ups on the legal framework that supports their businesses, assisting them navigate through the often complex cross cutting legal issues. Geoffrey has worked and continues to work with renowned and leading multi-national corporations in various industries such as Construction, Energy services, e-commerce, media & advertising, finance, Private Equity among others. In between the legal state exams he was assigned to Civil, Penal and Administrative Courts, Law Firms and the delegation of German industry and commerce in Nairobi in 2014 after which stint he formed a working relationship with partners of the Firm.
He is licensed to practice before all German courts on local, state and federal level and represents clients before all institutions of the European Union in civil and administrative Law matters. He has worked within German, Austrian, Dutch and Romanian jurisdictions within the EU.

He has significant experience in cross-border litigation and cross-border client representation. In addition Nils has consulted for law firms in the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates and has also advised numerous clients from English speaking common law jurisdictions in high net worth and complex transactions.

He serves as a board member of the African Law Association Germany (GfAR e.V.), the young lawyer's committee of the Cologne club of advocates (KAV, with around 4,000 members) and the young guns section of The Data Warehousing Institute (TDWI e.V.).
